    Tesla Babies is a program that was launched in 2019 by Kramer Marketing, Inc., a company that specializes in creating employee engagement and wellness programs for various organizations.

    Kramer Marketing partnered with Tesla to design and implement a program that would cater to the specific needs and interests of Tesla parents. Tesla Babies Program aims to:

    • Celebrate the pregnancy and the birth of the new family member with occasional gifts and personalized messages
    • Provide information and guidance on topics such as childcare, health, nutrition, safety, education and more
    • Offer discounts and access to quality and affordable childcare services through KinderCare, CCLC, and Champions
    • Provide free access to Care.com to find child, adult/elder, pet, and home care
    • Arrange in-home backup child and adult care and in-center backup childcare for emergencies
    • Provide expectant mothers with parking passes at selected locations
    • Provide nursing mothers with access to mother’s rooms at work
    • Assist with leaves of absence and return to work plans

    How To Enroll in Tesla Babies Program?

    Enrolling in Tesla Babies is easy and free.

    All you need to do is visit TheTeslaLife.com and fill out a simple form with your name, email address, due date, and location. You will then receive a confirmation email with more details about the program and what to expect.

    You can enroll in Tesla Babies at any time during your pregnancy, but it is recommended that you do so as early as possible to enjoy all the benefits and gifts.

    You can also update your information or opt out of the program at any time by contacting TeslaBabies@Tesla.com.

    What Are the Eligibility Criteria for the Tesla Babies Program?

    The Tesla Babies program is open to all Tesla employees who are expecting or adopting a child. There is no minimum tenure or service requirement to enroll in the program.

    However, some benefits may vary depending on the employee’s location, position, and status.

    To be eligible for the program, the employee must meet the eligibility requirements:

    • Be a full-time or part-time employee of Tesla or one of its subsidiaries
    • Be pregnant or in the process of adopting a child
    • Provide proof of pregnancy or adoption (such as a doctor’s note or an adoption certificate)
    • Complete the online enrollment form at TheTeslaLife.com

    The employee can enroll in the program at any time during their pregnancy or adoption process, but it is recommended that they do so as soon as possible to receive all the benefits and gifts.

    The employee can also enroll their spouse or partner in the program if they are also a Tesla employee.

    The employee will remain enrolled in the program until they return to work after their leave of absence. The employee can opt out of the program at any time by contacting TeslaBabies@Tesla.com.

    What Are the Benefits of the Tesla Babies Program?

    Tesla Babies program offers a variety of benefits for Tesla parents and their newborns. Here are some examples of what you can expect from the program:

    • A new baby kit with a Tesla onesie, a blanket, a bib, a hat, a pacifier, a bottle, a toy car and more
    • A monthly newsletter with helpful tips, articles, videos, and podcasts on various topics related to pregnancy, parenting, and work-life balance
    • A personalized card or email on special occasions such as holidays, birthdays, and milestones
    • A 10% tuition discount with KinderCare, CCLC, and Champions, which are part of the largest network of early childhood education programs in the U.S.
    • Free access to Care.com to find child, adult/elder, pet, and home care
    • In-home backup child and adult care, as well as in-center backup child care, for those times when you unexpectedly require coverage (you will pay a $4 to $10 copayment for this service)
    • Expectant mother’s parking pass for Fremont, Page, and Deer Creek locations (contact your local security team to receive one)
    • Access to mother’s rooms at work (send an email to itanswers@tesla.com for access)

    In addition, Elon Musk intends to substantially improve childcare benefits at his companies and donate directly to families via his charity. Tesla reimburses up to $40,000 for fertility and family planning treatments and provides 16 weeks of parental leave.
